Security & Integration FAQ
Can Snowball work completely offline?
Yes. Scanning, voice notes, tagging, and reminders all work without internet. Data syncs when you are back online. You can also disable cloud sync entirely and keep all data local.
Where are Snowball's servers located?
Primary infrastructure is in the US (AWS us-east-1). EU data residency is available on Enterprise plans, with servers in AWS eu-west-1 (Ireland).
Do you use my data to train AI models?
No. Your contact data, voice recordings, and notes are never used to train any machine learning models. Your data is yours.
What happens if I delete my account?
All your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. We provide a full data export before deletion. Backups are purged within 90 days.
Can I self-host Snowball?
Not currently. We offer dedicated infrastructure on Enterprise plans where your data is isolated, but the application runs on Snowball-managed infrastructure.
How do I integrate with a system not listed?
Use our webhooks or REST API. Any system that can receive HTTP requests or make API calls can integrate with Snowball. Our team can help architect custom integrations.
Is there a SLA for uptime?
Yes. Enterprise plans include a 99.9% uptime SLA with credits for any downtime. Status page at status.snowball.app.
Can multiple CRMs sync simultaneously?
Yes. You can push the same contact to multiple destinations—for example, Salesforce and Mailchimp via a single Zapier workflow, or multiple webhooks firing in parallel.
